Amelia's first zoo trip

We were honored to spend Henry's 1st birthday with him, visiting the Como Zoo.  OK, and I just have to say that we Minnesotans are so lucky to have such a wonderful, free zoo.  the Minnesota Zoo is absolutely amazing, but the entry fee is steep when you know there could be a total meltdown on the part of my daughter, rendering the whole trip a big, fat flop.

So, anyway, we went to the zoo and it was lovely.  Henry looked dashing in his flamin' jeans and backpack.  And, he packed it well.  His very well thought out cargo consisted of:  a banana, a diaper and a bottle.

All in all, a perfect trip on a very special day.

I'd also like to welcome Kieran Rio into the world!  Congrats to the whole family.  What a blessing!
